Kakuli Park, located on the banks of the Castlereagh River just outside Binnaway in the North West Slopes and Plains of NSW, is dedicated to providing high-quality Teff grass for local and regional markets, including Coonabarabran and Dubbo and surrounds, at a competitive price. The delivery of our horse feed supplies within the local area is included in the per bale price, while arrangements for delivery further afield can be made as needed.
Why Choose Kakuli Park Teff?
Teff grass is a gluten-free, warm-season cereal crop with a low sugar and starch content, making it an excellent option for horses prone to laminitis or Equine Metabolic Syndrome (EMS), especially during low performance seasons. Teff is high in fiber, helping horses feel full and satisfied while supporting healthy digestion. Its fine-stemmed and leafy nature makes it a soft and easy-to-digest forage. With a protein content of 9-14% and an NDF of 53-56%, Teff hay is also rich in calcium, phosphorus, iron, and trace elements.
